Drawings are arranged systematically on the walls. Lying in the center of the gallery is a red painted object serving as a base. Models are fixed to its sharply cut, angled surface, themselves tilting at an angle to produce a sense of direction and speed. This colorful, stimulating installation is typical of his style. In this courageous farewell to modernist architecture, Tschumi delivers a highly suggestive proposal for urban design in which he unveils his own independent theory of architecture, once again proving himself to be a leading innovator in contemporary international architecture.
