The present exhibition, titled "A Presence Called Architecture--Report From the Site," focuses on Fumihiko MAKI's truly current work, such as "Makuhari Messe Phase II," "Kaze-no-Oka Crematorium," "Floating Pavillion" for the Groningen Festival in Holland, and "Fukuoka University Student Center." Along with numerous studio models, structure component models, drawings, and site photos, the exhibition delivers a report on the tension surrounding actual sites that have just been completed or are presently in progress.
