The Works of Frank O.Gehry

'85 Oct.25-Nov.30

Gehry is known for his frequent use of animal motifs in his architectural designs. Here, however, the method on exhibit is highly orthodox. The exhibition covers a range of his works, from "Loyola School of Law"(1981),"California Aerospace Museum"(1984), through residential projects such as "Peterson Residence"(1984). The exhibition space is arranged so that models of recent works are paired with contemporary drawings. The exhibition elucidates the dimensions of Gehry's work which have been influenced by painting and sculpture.
