1964 Graduated from Naniwa College in Industrial Design
1969 Began to work in Milan and Japan
1975 Won Japan Interior Designers Association Award
1981 His work was selected for the permanent collection of Museum
      of Modern Art in New York
1983 Won Product Design Award from the Institute of Business Designers
      and Contract magazine in United States
1984 His work was selected for the parmanent collection at the Museum
      of Modern Art in New York
1985 Became a member of the jury for the Japan Good Design Competition
      run by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry
1987 Participated in the celebrations of the Centre Georges Pompidou's
      10th Anniversary
1988 Exhibition in Barcelona and Vienna
1990 Won Delta de Oro Award in Spain
1992 Designed the chair and interior for the Japanese Pavillion, the rotating
      theatre at Seville '92
1993 Became a president of jury of the Sixth International Design Competition,
      Osaka run by the Japan Design Foundation
1994 Designed a monument "IBUKI" in Wakayama, Japan
1996 Exhibition of his latest designs in Milan
