What is CeFiONtect?
TOTO has made a breakthrough in ceramic glazing technology. With this new technology,
we are able to cover the surface of our ceramic with a super-smooth glaze. This
glaze can prevent any waste particles, bacteria or mold from attaching themselves
to the surface. Effectively, we have created a permanent stain-resistant surface
that lasts for as long as the product is in use. We named this technology CeFiONtect,
it is derived from; Ceramic Fine Ion Technology. |

the following tests. The products used below have only half of their surface treated
with CeFiONtect.
Stain-inhibiting action test

Staining(black yeast fungus) is cultured
by the application of spores and nutrients
to the toilet bowl surface.
The staining is wiped off once,and then allowed to stand for two weeks.
*Black yeast fungus is a mold
that multiplies in damp locations, and is often found on the underside of toilet
bowl rims.
*Compared with a product corresponding
